Established in 1909 in North London, England, the company that makes luxury cars known as the Bentley Motors Limited is a British manufacturer of SUVs and cars.

It was founded by W. O.Bentley in 1919, and it became known for its victories at Le Mans, including those in 1924, 1927, 1929, and 1930. Since 1998, the brand has been part of the Volkswagen Group, and it was consolidated under the brand of Audi in 2022.

The company’s most prominent models include the 412 liter and the Speed Six. Its current model line includes the Continental GT, Flying Spur, Bentayga, and Mulsanne, which are all marketed globally. China is the largest market for the company, and it has been selling these cars since November 2012.

Most of the company’s models are built at its factory in Cheshire, England. Some are also assembled at Volkswagen’s facilities in Germany, such as the Dresden plant. The body for the Continental is made in Zwickau, while the Bentayga and the Volkswagen Touran are built at the company’s plant in Bratislava.
